January 3, 2019 - AdCoach Aims to Provide Much-Needed Training for the Digital Advertising Industry


About AdCoach:

AdCoach is founded by Ben Silverstein, a digital advertising professional with years of experience both working in the digital advertising space and as a teacher. His advertising career beginning in 2007 managing search and email campaigns, and his teach career started eight years later.

Silverstein started teaching courses on advertising in 2015. At the time he was working in New York City at Initiative (an IPG media agency) and saw a need to provide more training to his direct team. Soon after he joined Udemy as a teacher, where he has since taught over 7,500 students in 130 countries. In 2017 Silverstein started working with the IAB as a consultant, teaching in-person prep courses for their Digital Media Foundations Certification.

Silverstein started AdCoach in 2018 with the goal of providing an elearning platform dedicated to Advertising Professionals. The digital advertising industry changes nearly every day, with new technologies, companies, M&A, trends, and more constantly disrupting the space. And with all that change there are little to no resources that provide training and on-going knowledge about the industry. The resources that do exist generally cost thousands of dollars or are specific to a certain company or platform, and don't provide general knowledge or training.

AdCoach is designed to provide learning that will appeal to all levels, from beginners to seasoned professionals, and can be applied across all companies and jobs, and offered at affordable prices.

Most courses are one and half to two hours of content, and cost $49. This means that users can afford to sign-up and learn quickly. Should they want to continue with additional information, they can chose the course that covers subjects more applicable to their needs.

Ben Silverstein Bio:

Ben Silverstein is an award winning digital media professional with over a decade of experience working in the digital space. He's managed hundreds of millions of dollars for local, national, and international brands including Six Flags Amusement Parks, Giorgio Armani, Cafe de Columbia, William Grant & Sons, and the FDA Real Cost which won a 2015 gold Effie in the Disease Awareness and Education category. When he's not teaching, Silverstein works full time in the mobile advertising space, and is a consultant for the IAB's Learning & Development and certification group.
